Tennis: Poland’s Świątek out of Wimbledon, but to move up in rankings

Poland’s Iga Świątek is set to move up in the world rankings, possibly to No. 7, despite crashing out of the Wimbledon tennis championships, news outlets have reported.

The 20-year-old Pole, who is currently ranked world No. 9 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), was beaten 7-5, 1-6, 1-6 by Tunisia's Ons Jabeur on Monday in their fourth-round women's singles match at the grass-court Grand Slam tournament in London.

Świątek in 2018 won the Girls' Singles title at Wimbledon.
