Biathletes battle for honours in Polish ski resort

More than 300 biathletes from across Poland have flocked to the southwestern ski resort of Duszniki-Zdrój to battle it out in the second leg of the national championships this weekend.

The resort, located in the heart of the Sudety Mountains, is a leading biathlon centre in this part of Europe.

The 2021 Biathlon European Championships were held there in January last year, and it was also the venue for the 2020-2021 International Biathlon Union Cup.​

Danuta Isler visited the Duszniki Arena, where she spoke to its sports director Łukasz Witek.
