Racewalking: Poland’s Zdziebło scoops silver at European Championships in Munich

Poland’s Katarzyna Zdziebło on Saturday won the silver medal in the women’s 20 km race walk at the European Championships in Munich, Germany.

The Pole crossed the line in 1:29:20, 17 seconds behind the winner, Greece's Antigoni Ntrismpioti, news outlets reported. 

Germany’s Saskia Feige claimed bronze, finishing five seconds after Zdziebło.

In July, Poland’s Katarzyna Zdziebło scooped the silver medal in the women’s 20 km race walk at the World Athletics Championships in Eugene, in the US state of Oregon.
