Four European medals for Polish track cyclists

Polish track cyclists have won four medals, three silver and one bronze, at the European championships in Switzerland.

On Sunday, the last day of the event, Poland’s Patryk Rajkowski took the silver in the men's keirin race.

A day earlier, countryman Mateusz Rudyk finished runner-up in the men's sprint.

The third silver for Poland came from Daria Pikulik, who placed second in the women's omnium competition on February 10.

Pikulik also claimed the bronze in the women's scratch race on February 8.

Team Poland finished ninth in the overall medal standings. Germany came top of the table with a total of 13 medals, ahead of Great Britain with 12 and the Netherlands with 10.

The 2023 European Track Cycling Championships were held in Grenchen, Switzerland from February 8 to 12.
