The 25-year-old Pole, who is ranked world No. 100 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), defeated Italian Jasmine Paolini 6-2, 6-3 in their first-round encounter in the Spanish capital on Wednesday.
Up next for the Polish qualifier at the clay-court tournament in Madrid is third-seeded American Jessica Pegula.
Meanwhile, Poland's Iga Świątek, the world No. 1 in women's tennis, and 19th-ranked countrywoman Magda Linette both had a bye in the first round of the Madrid Open.
Linette was set to play her second-round match on Thursday, while Świątek was expected to step on the court on Friday.
Poland's Świątek missed last year's Madrid Open due to a shoulder injury.
The 2023 Madrid Open runs until May 7.
