Tennis: Poland’s Świątek through to 4th round of Italian Open

Poland’s Iga Świątek has cruised into the fourth round of the women's singles at the Italian Open tennis tournament in Rome, with a straight-set win over Lesia Tsurenko of Ukraine.

The Polish world No. 1 defeated the 68th-ranked Ukrainian 6-2, 6-0 in the third round on Sunday.

Up next for the Polish tennis star at the clay-court tournament in the Italian capital is Croatia's world No. 21 Donna Vekić.
