Meanwhile, Adrianna Sułek, who won the silver in the women’s pentathlon at last year's World Athletics Indoor Championships in Belgrade, Serbia, was not selected to compete in Budapest after she announced she was expecting her first child, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
The 2023 World Athletics Championships will be held in Budapest from August 19 to 27.
More than 2,100 athletes from 202 teams are expected to compete at Hungary's new National Athletics Centre.
