Among these, the Fan Zone at the National Stadium in Warsaw stands out, having cost PLN 1 million to set up.

"The Warsaw Fan Zone (WSK) at the National Stadium will open on Sunday," said Bartosz Kusior, a board member of PL2012+, during a press conference.

"Fans will be able to watch all of Poland's group stage matches there," he added.

The Warsaw Fan Zone is designed to accommodate thousands of fans and includes relaxation areas, a variety of food stalls and activities for families.

Speaking at a press conference, Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski said: "We invite fans to the Warsaw zone three hours before each match."

"The zone will have many attractions for children, making it a family-friendly environment. Although the capacity is limited to 10,000 people, we believe most fans will find a spot. Importantly, the event is free of charge," the mayor explained.

Bartłomiej Stępień, Deputy Director of the Capital Sports Center Active Warsaw, said in an interview with Polish Radio: "We want the fan zone to be a place where entire families can spend time together. We've prepared an animation zone where children can play football, a crafts corner for face painting in national colours, and DIY tote bag decorating."

The fan zone will offer more than just match viewing; it will be a hub of activity. "Fans can make healthy fruit shakes using stationary bikes, adding a fitness element to the fun," explained Stępień.

Matches will be broadcast on a specially installed large screen.

The first match in the fan zone will be Poland against the Netherlands on Sunday, June 16, at 3 p.m. CEST.

Following matches include Poland versus Austria on June 21 at 6 p.m. (CEST) and Poland against France on June 25 at 6 p.m. (CEST).

The Warsaw Fan Zone is organized by PGE Narodowy, with major partners including the City of Warsaw and the Capital Sports Center Active Warsaw.

The Euro 2024 championships, held by the European football governing body UEFA, opened on Friday, igniting football fever across the continent.
