Flood in Poland: State of natural disaster expanded
Although the meteorological and hydrological situation in Poland has improved, emergency levels are still being reported on several dozen rivers.
Problems persist in the southwestern part of the country. The flood wave is reaching Wrocław, and efforts to reinforce the flood defenses in Nysa are ongoing.
Prime Minister Tusk has decided to expand the state of natural disaster to additional counties and has announced a plan to rebuild flood-affected areas, which will be implemented in collaboration with local authorities.
