The men’s tournament, set for January 10-27, 2030, will feature matches in the Cczech capital Prague, Katowice, in Poland’s southwest, and the Danish city of Herning. The women’s competition, scheduled for December 2-19, 2032, will hold group-stage matches in Katowice, while Germany will host the finals.

ZPRP President Sławomir Szmal highlighted the opportunity these events present to promote handball in Poland, particularly among children and youth, and to showcase the sport to a broader audience.

Poland has recently hosted major tournaments, including the 2023 men's world championship, and will organize the 2025 U21 men's world championship.
