Keys will now face off against WTA leader and two-time defending champion Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus in the final.
This was the sixth meeting between Świątek and Keys, with Keys securing her second win.
Świątek has reached the semifinals of the Australian Open for the second time in her career, following her previous appearance in 2022.
Earlier on Thursday, Sabalenka advanced to the final with a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Spain's Paula Badosa. The championship match is scheduled for Saturday.
