100 years of Polish comics showcases the works of Poland’s best-known graphic novel creators including Grzegorz Rosiński, Janusz Christa, Papcio Chmiel and Tadeusz Baranowski.
The exhibition includes original art used in some of the country’s most popular graphic novels such as Rosiński’s “Thorgal,” Christa’s “Kajko i Kokosz,” Chmiel’s “Tytus, Romek i A'Tomek” and Baranowski’s “Antresolka Profesorka Nerwosolka.”
Comics aficionados will also have the rare opportunity to view pre-war graphic novels featured in Polish newspapers after the country regained its independence in 1918.
100 years of Polish comics is hosted by the Polish Institute in Berlin. Admission to the exhibition, which runs until August 27, is free.
