Daily piano concerts have been the Polish pavilion's regular feature for the last six months. The project "Chopin at EXPO 2020 in Dubai" finished with a special gala concert held at the Dubai Millenium Amphitheatre of two talented pianists - Szymon Nehring from Poland and Tony Yike Yang from Canada.
Both are the finalists of the 17th edition of the International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw. Danuta Isler spoke to them after the concert about what's it like to bring Chopin's music to such international audience and to what extent their performances have been influenced by the current developments on Poland's eastern border.
