World-renown Belgian label releases a new album by Poland's Hatti Vatti

"Zeit" is the Polish producer's latest work as well as his first longplay in 7 years - and it was released on July 11th by R&S Records - an internationally renowned publishing house owned by Renaat Vandepapeliere.

Poland's Piotr Kaliński, better known as Hatti Vatti, has been long considered by the critics and fans alike as one of the most talented and versatile Polish alternative urban music producers.

The Tricity artist, who grew from the digital dub and dubstep scene and drifted towards future jazz and dark garage, has a number of internationally successful releases under his belt, both solo and in cooperation with other esteemed artists.

The Belgian label, operating since the early 1980s, is considered one of the most prestigious brands in the world of electronic music and beyond - releasing albums by creme de la creme of the genre, like Aphex Twin, Sven Väth, Laurent Garnier, Nicolas Jaar, Moby, James Blake, Bonobo of Four Tet - just to name the few.

According to the announcement, "Zeit" combines electronics with elements of the Japanese ambient scene, krautrock, jazz and UK bass. Hatti Vatti worked with esteemed Polish instrumentalists - bass player Paweł Stachowiak (EABS, Błoto, SiemaZiemia), drummer Rafał Dutkiewicz (Skalpel, P.Unity) and saxophonist Piotr Chęcki (Hinode Tapes, Nene Heroine) - to mold its final shape.
