A site-specific opera that connects Joan of Arc, Joanna, an artist caught up in the Warsaw insurgency of 1944, and Joan, a contemporary Parisian photographer who has never wanted to know the history of women from her family. The three meet in their dreams. Director Krystian Lada who staged the production in and around the Warsaw Rising Museum, Lilianna Krych who conducts all the musical intricacies, and baritone Szymon Komasa who is a singing Angel of History speak to Elżbieta Krajewska about their work on "D'Arc", and their perception of the Warsaw Rising.
