Among the most interesting historical projects from the past year in Poland were the award-winning exhibition "The Journey of Heroines: The Women’s Uprising," the opening of the "Park Dzieje" Cultural Center, and many others.

Jan Ołdakowski, the director of the Warsaw Uprising Museum, expressed his appreciation for the recognition of the exhibition honoring the heroines of events from 80 years ago, which secured first place in the exhibition category.

"The attempt to showcase the female perspective of every soldier, member of the organization Helping Soldiers, and civilian in Warsaw has been appreciated. The Warsaw Uprising has been distilled into a universal experience of a woman engaged in history, and that has been recognized. This is a great honor; thank you very much to the internet users, and I hope that our efforts for the 80th anniversary of the uprising will also be acknowledged," Ołdakowski stated while receiving the award.

In the event category, the opening of the "Park Dzieje" Cultural Center in Murowana Goślina was the winner. The director of the institution, Marta Mleczko, highlighted the success of the outdoor performances.

"This year was our eighth season, and we had a record audience, as 20,000 people attended 10 performances; I hope that it is precisely our viewers and supporters who contributed to this success," she emphasized.

In the education category, the "Historical and Social Educational Center," a project by the Silesian University and the City of Katowice focusing on Polish-Ukrainian relations, received the award.

Robert Kostro, the director of the Polish History Museum, stressed that the goal of the poll is to promote local communities engaged in spreading history. He also pointed out the importance of initiatives created by volunteers and emphasized their efforts in developing such projects.

A total of 135 projects were submitted to the poll from both Poland and abroad, with the finalists in each category chosen by a jury, while internet users cast their votes. Since the inception of the poll, approximately 2,000 projects have been submitted, with over 50,000 participants voting.
