The tour kicked off with a concert in Karvina, Czech Republic, on Friday, and will also include performances in Zürich, Switzerland (October 28), Sausheim, France (October 29), and Schorndorf, Germany (October 30).

The concert program features Polish folk songs and dances created by the ensemble’s founders, Stanisław Hadyna and Elwira Kamińska, as well as the popular polonaise by renowned Polish composer Wojciech Kilar.

Later this year, Śląsk will bring a program of Polish Christmas carols to Chicago, Denver, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. In 2025, the ensemble is scheduled to perform at the Expo Exhibition in Osaka, Japan.

Founded 72 years ago, the Śląsk Song and Dance Ensemble is based in Koszęcin, located in Poland's southern Silesia region.
