The event, organized by the Polish Embassy in Lithuania and the Polish Institute in Vilnius, is part of the celebrations for Poland's ongoing presidency over the next six months.

The star of the evening will be Rafał Blechacz, winner of the 15th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw in 2005.

Blechacz is considered one of Poland's greatest piano virtuosos. In Vilnius, where he will perform for the first time since 2007, he will present Chopin's Piano Concerto in F minor.

The program will also feature Stanisław Moniuszko's "Fairy Tale" Overture and "Diptych" by Ukrainian composer Myroslav Skoryk.
