Weekend with Polish diaspora in Chicago

The US city of Chicago is set to host a series of events this weekend aiming to foster academic and scientific ties between Poland and the United States.

On Saturday and Sunday, representatives from the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) and 17 Polish universities will meet with the local community to present educational opportunities of studying in Poland as part of the "Weekend with Polish Diaspora" initiative.

On Monday, the Polish-American Scientific & Academic Cooperation Meetup will bring together scientists, university representatives and members of the Polish scientific community to discuss multi-level cooperation with Polish institutions.

Hosted by NAWA, Northeastern Illinois University and the Kościuszko Foundation’s Chicago chapter, the event will feature discussions on international exchange programmes and collaborative academic projects, according to the Polish Cultural Institute in New York.
