Some of Poland’s best-known actors and musicians have launched a striking campaign to back humanitarian work in Gaza and Ukraine, using provocative slogans to condemn world leaders and call for donations.
Maja Ostaszewska, Julia Kamińska, Mateusz Janicki and other Polish artists staged a protest to denounce political leaders and raise support for humanitarian aid in Gaza and Ukraine.

Actress Maja Ostaszewska – a household name in Poland known for her political engagement – posed alongside fellow artists including Julia Kamińska and Mateusz Janicki. They wore T-shirts emblazoned with the slogan: “F**CKTRUMPUTINJAHU.”

The message was aimed squarely at U.S. President Donald Trump, Russia’s leader Vladimir Putin, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

‘The slogans speak for themselves’

“These slogans speak for themselves,” Ostaszewska wrote on social media. “What we can do is speak loudly about the horrors happening before our eyes. We can support, financially, the organisations bringing aid to those suffering in war.”

She added: “I cannot accept Putin’s aggression against Ukraine, nor the genocide in Gaza carried out by Israel under Netanyahu’s rule.”

The campaign is led by visual artist Bartek Kiełbowicz, with all proceeds directed to the Polish Medical Mission operating in Gaza and to Euromaidan Warsaw, a grassroots initiative helping Ukraine.

Polish singer voices fury over Gaza

Another outspoken voice has been singer-songwriter Krzysztof Zalewski, who has repeatedly condemned Israel’s actions in Gaza. During a series of August concerts at the popular Męskie Granie festival, wearing a T-shirt in the colours of the Palestinian flag, he told the crowd :

“This is not a political manifesto, but genocide is unfolding before our eyes. F*** Netanyahu, f*** Hamas, f*** Putin. Let’s not forget Ukraine. Let’s do whatever we can, even if it’s small steps – so that one day we might live in peace, in a world that is at least halfway normal.”

The protests echo wider international criticism. A UN commission recently concluded that Israel’s actions in Gaza showed an intent to destroy Palestinians in the territory, meeting the criteria of the Genocide Convention.
