The track, taken from the forthcoming Mourners EP, has been praised for its swirling, psychedelic sound and a sly bass line reminiscent of early-2000s Radiohead.

Guitarist Wojtek Juchniewicz’s evocative vocals - “Oh, let the mourners go” - are complemented by bandleader Grzegorz Kwiatkowski’s Beatlesque backing lines: “Let the mourners come.”

Rolling Stone notes that, beyond its musicality, the song carries a subtle political resonance.

Kwiatkowski, a poet and anti-fascist activist, uses the track to counter the rising drone of right-wing authoritarianism worldwide, turning the layered vocals into what the magazine describes as “a scream against” global political tensions.
