"Romantic Chopin", created by Art Box Experience in partnership with the Fryderyk Chopin Institute, took the People's Voice Award for Best Immersive Experience in the Apps, Immersive & Software category at the 30th Webby Awards – an annual competition called the "Oscars of the Internet" by the New York Times.

The award is decided by public vote.

The exhibition saw off competition from an immersive Metallica concert experience on Apple Vision Pro, among others.

Visitors move through eight themed spaces tracing Chopin's life from his birthplace in Żelazowa Wola to Paris, accompanied by dozens of works performed by leading pianists.

The show combines hand-painted watercolours brought to life through stop-motion animation with interactive installations and a virtual reality experience.

The Webby Awards received more than 13,000 entries from over 70 countries this year.

The gala ceremony takes place in New York on 11 May.

The exhibition is currently showing at the Poznań International Fair.

Art Box Experience says it is in talks to bring the show to other European cities, including Paris, as well as to Japan, South Korea and China.
