The Warsaw dates form part of a tour that has drawn record crowds.
Pollstar, a music industry trade publication, reported in July that the Canadian star sold out six shows at the Stade de France, drawing more than half a million spectators in France alone.
From Poland, the tour continues to Sweden, then the UK, Ireland, Spain and Portugal.
The show draws on material from three albums – "After Hours," "Dawn FM" and "Hurry Up Tomorrow" – woven into a single narrative exploring loneliness, obsession, desire and the fallout of life lived at the edge.
The European staging features an expanded set, including a 12-metre gold figure inspired by Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama, larger than the version used earlier in the tour.
Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, born in Toronto in 1990, built his following anonymously online before mixtapes "House of Balloons", "Thursday" and "Echoes of Silence" established his melancholic, nocturnal take on R&B.
His 2015 album "Beauty Behind the Madness" marked a breakthrough, and "Blinding Lights", from 2020's "After Hours", became one of the biggest hits of the streaming era.
He has also moved into acting, starring in the widely panned HBO series "Idol" in 2023, then in last year's psychological thriller "Hurry Up Tomorrow," directed by Trey Edward Shults alongside Jenny Ortega and Barry Keoghan.
Tesfaye has spoken of wanting to retire the Weeknd persona, telling Variety in January last year that he felt ready to close that chapter, though reports later suggested he was reconsidering.
