Book documents 1934 bike trip by British writer through Poland
In 1934, British writer Bernard Newman made a journey through Poland, covering over 3,000 kilometres on a bike. His account of the journey, entitled “Pedalling Poland,” has just been published in a Polish translation.

Interviewed for Radio Poland, the writer’s grandson, Simon Hipkin, says his grandfather had a deep interest in Polish history and his output includes several books on Poland.
