The event took place on Sunday evening at Polish Radio’s Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio in Warsaw, Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
Containing exclusively Ukrainian music, the concert featured the Polish Radio Orchestra Warsaw, led by conductor Michał Klauza, soprano Olga Pasiecznik, who is of Ukrainian descent, as well as composer and singer Agata Zubel.
Proceeds from the concert will go to Caritas Polska, a Catholic charity, in support of Ukraine as it fights against a Russian invasion.
During the event, Caritas volunteers were collecting donations for the cause.
Contributions can also be made by texting "Ukraina" at 72052 or making a transfer to the following bank account: 70 1020 1013 0000 0102 0002 6526.
Co-organised by the National Centre for Culture (NCK), the concert was broadcast live by Polish Radio 2 and televised by TVP Kultura.
Ukraine has been battling an invasion by Vladimir Putin’s Russia since February 24.
