According to Variety magazine, Keaton, who produced and directed the movie, also plays the lead role of John Knox, ”a contract killer who is diagnosed with a fast-moving form of dementia.
"He vows to spend his final days attempting to redeem himself by saving the life of his estranged adult son. He finds himself in a race against the authorities as well as the ticking clock of his own rapidly deteriorating mind."
Kulig, 40, embarked on an international career following her successful appearance in Paweł Pawlikowski’s feature Cold War, which won her a European Film Award.
Premiered at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival, Cold War earned the prize for best director.
