The film, directed by Tomasz Grzywaczewski and entitled Erase the Nation, shows how Russia has been attempting to wipe out Ukraine's culture since it invaded its neighbour in February last year, officials have said.
The production aims to alert the international community to the destruction of Ukraine's cultural heritage at the hands of the Russian army since February 24, 2022, according to the filmmakers.
Russian forces have deliberately targeted historic monuments in Ukrainian cities such as Kyiv, Kharkiv and Lviv, including both secular and religious heritage, archaeological sites, libraries and schools, according to Ukrainian cultural figures.
The premiere screening of the film is due to take place at Kino Kultura cinema in Warsaw on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.
Poland's Deputy Prime Minister and Culture Minister Piotr Gliński is expected to be among those attending the event.
