Organized by Poland's Institute of National Remembrance (IPN), the exhibition, entitled Trails of Hope: The Odyssey of Freedom, pays tribute to the renowned Anders' Army and its Jewish volunteers.

The opening night will be attended by Karol Nawrocki, head of the IPN, and Herzl Makov, director of the Menachem Begin Heritage Center.

This event, part of an extensive international project honoring the Anders Army, aligns with the 80th anniversary of its establishment and the 75th anniversary of the state of Israel.

The exhibition showcases the remarkable journey of Polish soldiers and civilians who were evacuated from the Soviet Union under General Anders' leadership.

It emphasizes the significant contributions made by the Jewish volunteers of the Army, including Menachem Begin, who fought for the establishment of the state of Israel and later served as its prime minister.

Running until 2025, Trails of Hope will encompass more than 50 countries, paying tribute to the valiant Polish heroes of World War II.

The project is being held under the auspices of Poland's President Andrzej Duda. The main partner of the project is the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
