Titled MonumentApp, the application showcases Poland’s monuments and other heritage objects, the country’s most beautiful views, and places linked to popular TV series and literary figures, NIKZ said.
The app offers ready-made sight-seeing routes and practical information, including about sight-seeing times, ticket prices and local attractions, according to officials.
Besides providing profiles of monuments and other heritage objects, MonumentApp is also a social platform, allowing users to upload their own photos, share their discoveries with family and friends, and create maps and trip plans, NIKZ said.
The app features a special sight-seeing route dedicated to the 1944 Warsaw Uprising, to mark its upcoming 79th anniversary, according to officials.
