This marked the beginning of the first of three concerts in Poland as part of her "The Eras Tour," according to kultura.onet.pl.
Fans reacted most enthusiastically when Swift addressed the crowd and attempted to speak a few words in Polish.
To honor the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising, Taylor's team and fans observed a minute of silence at 5 p.m. (known as the "W Hour"), a few hours before the concert began, when the sirens sounded. This tribute paid respect to the heroes of the historic events of 1944.
