The exhibition "Surrealism. Other Myths", running from May 10 to August 11, 2024, showcases a global, surreal phenomenon where dreams and reality intertwine. Viewers have an opportunity to take a look at 300 works spanning from the interwar period to contemporary pieces, featuring both Polish and international artists.

„The event is a wonderful opportunity to discover and admire works by more than sixty artists, including Marek Włodarski (Henryk Streng), Aleksander Krzywobłocki, Marek Piasecki, Fortunata Obrąpalska, Jerzy Kujawski, Erna Rosenstein, Władysław Hasior, Zbigniew Makowski, Jerzy Skarżyński, Urszula Broll and Max Ernst. Their pieces exemplify the range of techniques typical of the Surrealists, like decalcomania, grattage, and frottage,” says Zuzanna Szor, from the educational department of the museum, in an interview with Radio Poland.
