At this year’s Top Of The Top Sopot Festival, the prestigious trophy was awarded to Oskar Cyms, who just a few years ago was performing on the streets near the Sopot pier. The singer was recognized for his outstanding performance of the song "Cały czas."

From Baltic streets to Top Of The Top Sopot Festival

"Just three years ago, I was performing on the street in Sopot's Monciak, and at 21, I never imagined I’d be holding this trophy on the stage at Opera Leśna," said the 24-year-old after receiving the most significant award of his musical career so far.

"I can hardly believe it. I’m just so happy. I’m grateful," the singer expressed on social media.

The song "Cały czas," performed on Tuesday in Sopot, is a preview of the artist’s second album. Cyms has a solid educational background, having studied computer science and econometrics.

As a child, he sang in a church choir and practiced karate. At the start of his career, he sang on the streets of Sopot, located by the Baltic Sea, and primarily shared his music via YouTube and TikTok.

In 2023, Oskar Cyms released his debut album "Nigdy wcześniej," which debuted at number 9 on the sales chart, began a popular concert tour, and his singles have received numerous accolades.
