Concert moved from Wrocław to Warsaw due to flood risk

Due to the flood threat in Wrocław and ongoing work to secure the National Forum of Music building, the concert by Shunske Sato and the Wrocław Baroque Orchestra has been moved to Warsaw.

The new venue for the event will be the Witold Lutosławski Polish Radio Concert Studio. The gala featuring outstanding virtuosos will take place on Friday, September 20, at 7:00 PM.

The musicians will be led by Shunske Sato, concertmaster of Concerto Köln and one of the world’s top violinists, renowned for his exceptional skill.

The concert program will include works by Joseph Haydn, Karl Ditters von Dittersdorf, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Johann Baptist Vanhal.

The gala will be recorded and broadcast on Program 2 of Polish Radio on Wednesday, September 25, at 8:00 PM. Admission is free, but prior registration is required at: koncertydwojki@polskieradio.pl.

The program will feature a treat for music lovers, including Johann Baptist Vanhal's Symphony in D minor and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Violin Concerto in B-flat major.
