"We should know this story to prevent its return," says FM Sikorski during visit to Cold War Museum

The exhibit, which is open only on weekends in January, houses a map of Soviet plans for an invasion of Western Europe, which Minister Sikorski declassified in 2006 when he was Poland's Minister of National Defense.

Filip Frąckowiak, Director of the General Kukliński Cold War Museum in Warsaw, accompanied the Polish Foreign Minister during the tour.

The head of Polish diplomacy recorded a special video for the occasion.

General Ryszard Kukliński was a Polish military officer who secretly passed crucial Soviet military plans to the United States during the Cold War.

Due to his bravery and invaluable intelligence contributions, he was given the codename "Jack Strong" by his American handlers. His remarkable story was later dramatized in the 2014 film directed by Władysław Pasikowski.
