Acclaimed British actress Tilda Swinton is set to inaugurate the 35th Malta Festival in Poznań with a unique performance.
The festival, celebrating its 35th anniversary, is scheduled from June 20 to 27, 2025, and will feature Swinton's Embodying Pasolini, a tribute to Italian director Pier Paolo Pasolini.
In this monodrama, Swinton dons costumes and uses props from Pasolini's films, including The Gospel According to St. Matthew, Oedipus Rex, and Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom.
The performance will take place at Hall 2 of the Poznań International Fair. Tickets are expected to go on sale in late March.
