The group includes representatives from a dozen or so space technology companies and officials from government institutions such as the Ministry of Investment and Development and the Polish Space Agency, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
The annual International Astronautical Congress in Washington has attracted more than 6,000 participants from over 80 countries.
The event, now in its 70th year, runs until Friday. It is being held under the slogan “Space: The Power of the Past. The Promise of the Future.”
Earlier this week, Polish space tech firms promoted their products at an event called "Polish Space Night" at the residence of the Polish ambassador in Washington.
Poland has about 300 companies active in its space technology sector, according to the IAR news agency.
