President Andrzej Duda signed the law into effect on the same day that it was passed by the lower house of parliament.
Under the new rules, voting will take place at polling stations, as in the past, but Poles will also be able to apply to cast their ballot by post.
The date of the presidential election is to be announced by Parliamentary Speaker Elżbieta Witek. She is expected to make her decision known on Wednesday.
The Polish presidential vote was originally scheduled for May 10, but it failed to go ahead amid the coronavirus pandemic, which has claimed 1,092 lives in this country.
