Opposition Senator Jan Filip Libicki revealed on Saturday he had contracted the coronavirus.
He has since been admitted to a hospital for treatment.
Upper-house Speaker Tomasz Grodzki said on Sunday that all senators and staff who recently had contact with Libicki would be tested for the virus.
The tests will be carried out on Tuesday, with the results expected a day later, Grodzki told state news agency PAP.
Poland’s newly re-elected President Andrzej Duda is scheduled to be sworn into his second term in office before both houses of Poland’s parliament on Thursday, August 6.
