The plane touched down not long after the first evacuation flight from Afghanistan landed in the Polish capital on Wednesday night.
According to the Polish prime minister’s top aide, Michał Dworczyk, 90 more people were still waiting to be evacuated at Kabul airport.
“Another Polish military aircraft will land in Kabul within two hours,” he told reporters on Thursday morning.
Dworczyk added that a Polish journalist, Jagoda Grondecka, was still at the airport and that she would likely leave later on Thursday.
“Other Polish citizens have already been evacuated,” Dworczyk said.
On Monday, all evacuation operations had been halted due to overcrowding at Kabul airport. Flights resumed on Tuesday morning.
On Wednesday, Polish President Andrzej Duda said his country would send up to 100 soldiers to Afghanistan to help secure the evacuation.
On Sunday, the Taliban seized control of the Afghan capital Kabul after international armed forces led by the United States had been withdrawn.
The Taliban, a radical Islamist movement and military organization, has now taken over most of the country, while the US-supported government has fallen and President Ashraf Ghani left the country.
