Around 3.7 gigawatts of new photovoltaic capacity was installed nationwide in 2021, making Poland the number two country in the EU in terms of new capacity.
The total capacity is 7.6 gigawatts, which shows that Poland can rely on photovoltaics in its energy transition to a low-emission energy system in the future, experts said.
