A total of 104 crews are expected to compete in the event, which is organised by the Polish Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (PZM).

Drivers include Spain’s Efren Llarena, FIA ERC leader after three rounds, his compatriot and vice-leader Nil Solans, as well as Poland’s rising young talent Miko Marczyk.

The rally is also a FIA European Rally Championship qualifier.  It will be held in Poland’s spectacular Masuria Lake District, the event’s home since it moved to the north of the country in 2005.

Radio Poland’s Klaudiusz Madeja spoke to Andrzej Borowczyk, the Rally's spokesman, to find out more.
