On April 11, 1923, the Association of Polish Radio Technicians adopted a set of recommendations for regular broadcasting, a date that is now celebrated as a milestone in the history of Polish Radio.

The Polish national broadcaster’s first trial transmission was aired on February 1, 1925, while the service’s regular broadcasting started on April 18, 1926.
