The debate was part of the Warsaw Science Festival event.

Topics such as election campaigning, changes in social behaviour and voter participation in general elections were discussed, and conclusions from the latest national and international research were presented, taking into account various political, psychological and sociological perspectives.

In our four-part pre-election special, we present interviews with some of the participants of the debate.

In the first part of the series, Marcin Matuszewski speaks with the moderator of the event, Katarzyna Bąkowicz, who is a co-founder of the Central European Digital Media Observatory and a journalism and social communication lecturer at Warsaw's SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
