Spring ushers in the arrival of not only fair weather to Poland, but also the country's Holiday Season, which, right out of the gate, offers some dates to note down in the diary. May is a month for celebration for the people of Poland, with three consecutive holidays from May the 1st to May the 3rd. Sandwiched between the two public holidays May Day and Constitution Day, is May the 2nd. Although not formally a national holiday, May the 2nd is taken as a day off by many Poles to have an undisturbed leisure time. May the 2nd marks Polish National Flag Day as well as the Day of Polonia and Poles living Abroad.
