Polish Arabian Horse Days is the premier annual celebration of the Arabian Horse in Poland crowned with the world-known auction.
Of the 18 Arabian horses exhibited during this year's 55th Purebred Arabian Pride of Poland Auction, 10 were sold for 637 thousand euros.
According to the president of the stud farm in Janów Podlaski, Marek Trela, the auction in Janów Podlaski aimed not to break sales records but to rebuild the prestige of Polish Arabian horse breeding.
The mare Zigi Zana considered the star of the auction from the start, fetched the highest price, going to a buyer from Belgium for 145 thousand euros.
