Flooding in Poland has been gradually receding but warnings continue of potential further threats

The situation in the Lower Silesian region is slowly stabilising , the inhabitants of the flooded regions are returning to their homes, if possible, medical clinics and hoispitals , if not badly devastated start working. Collections for the victims continue, initiated by charity organisations such as the Polish Red Cross or Caritas Poland, but also by numerous institutions and NGOs.
