Polish parliament says 'no' to cyclical medical examinations for hunters

Despite public support for improving gun safety among hunters, the Polish parliament voted down the proposed amendment on that matter.

Over 86% of surveyed Poles expressed opinion that hunters should be required to undergo periodic medical and psychological examinations - according to the latest study conducted for the country's Ministry of Climate.

Meanwhile, Poland's lower house of Parliament has recently voted to bin the draft amendment to the country's Weapons and Ammunition Act, aimed in particular at tackling this issue.
