Professor Budrytė, who teaches political science at Georgia Gwinnett College in the United States, specializes in memory politics, identity, and security studies.

In our conversation, she explains how Russia manipulates historical narratives and how this strategy affects international security. She also discusses the concept of securitizing memory and the growing importance of historical memory in shaping political decisions and regional stability.
