"I saw it," claimed a local resident in an interview with public broadcaster Polish Radio.
"It’s a young one, probably about a year old, with a coat a bit lighter than a Labrador’s," the man said, adding that the moose has been a regular in the area, just wandering along its own well-trodden path.
The animal’s unusual coloring is the result of a genetic anomaly called leucism, experts have said.
