Warsaw wants Eastern Partnership raised to higher level

Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz has arrived in Georgia to attend a two-day conference marking the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership, an initiative to forge closer political and economic ties between the European Union and six post-Soviet states.

“It is our duty to support the EU aspirations of Eastern Partnership countries … We must think about this in the EU in order to convince all the countries to not only continue the Eastern Partnership, but raise it to a higher level,” Czaputowicz said in Batumi, Georgia, on Thursday.
